The National Parks around Port Macquarie are home to some of the most spectacular scenery and with plenty of boardwalks, with some reaching up to the top of the canopy, you can wander through until your heart is content. Why not do a beach walk or take the kids dolphin spotting, or spend the afternoon wandering the streets and doing some well deserved shopping, There is always plenty of entertainment whether you wish to have a couple of drinks in one of the bars and listen to a local band or visit one of the local markets that are held of a weekend. You can go horse riding and mountain biking or even do some sky diving or hang gliding for something a little different! The kids will love the go kart track as well as the indoor adventure centre which is great if the weather decides to turn a bit unpredictable. There are beautiful coastal walks and hiking treks to embark on as well as the opportunity to hire a bicycle and tour around town to slow the pace down a little. Cap off the day with a wonderful meal in one of the many restaurants throughout the town and even dance the night away in one of the bars or nightclubs. There is something for everyone, from indoor to outdoor activities both during the day and on into the night.
